Helping You Care for Your Special Needs Family Members
Boise, Idaho, Estate Planning Lawyer
Nothing is more important than safeguarding the future of your children, especially when they have special needs stemming from a physical or mental disability. If your child's disability hampers his or her ability to live independently when you are gone, seek out an experienced attorney to help you protect your loved one's future.
If your child needs extra help and protection, a special needs trust could be a great way to provide for them and ensure they are taken care of. At Graham Law Office, P.A., I have been helping people create trusts for more than 30 years. I can help you protect what's important to you.

What Are Special Needs Trusts?
Special needs trusts are for people receiving disability benefits, including children who are autistic or have other mental or physical disabilities. They can also be set up for adults who are disabled.
By placing the disabled person's assets in a special needs trust, the assets remain safe while allowing the special needs individual to continue qualifying for government disability benefits. When they die, the state will be reimbursed for what was paid out through the disability program.
Third Party Disability Benefits
I can also help you set up a third party supplemental needs trust which can allow you to supplement someone's disability benefits without disqualifying them from receiving state benefits. This will help them when they need to purchase items and services not covered by their benefits. After the death of the special needs person the remaining assets stay in the family and do not go to the state.
